What's the 3-2-1 backup rule?

The 3-2-1 rule means keeping 3 copies of your data, on 2 different types of media, with 1 copy offsite or in the cloud. This is the industry standard minimum for business backup.

Does Microsoft 365 back up my data automatically?

No. Microsoft 365 provides limited data retention and recovery, not true backup. If a user deletes data beyond the retention window — or ransomware encrypts your mailboxes — you can lose it permanently. We provide proper M365 backup.
